The brand is well-known among outdoor enthusiasts for its series of tiny air pumps for camping beds, ultra-compact mosquito repellent tools, and a super compact Evo Icer battery-run outdoor ice maker.

Features and Specifications

The Zero Pump is a brand-new product from Flextail. It is an ultralight mattress pump that can shave off a significant amount of weight in a camper’s or backpacker’s luggage. The little 1.2-ounce air pump, which works on upgraded Airvortech 2.0 technology, can fill up your ultralight camping beds with ease. Though a small and handy device, it can deliver 100 liters per minute with an airflow of 2.3 kpa, which can help you inflate and deflate small and light sleeping mids in 50s, as per the brand.

Where to Buy the Flextail Zero Pump

Last updated October 5, 2026. Flextail launched the Zero Pump through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign in late 2023 (see the dated update box above for that campaign note). As of October 5, 2026, the gen-1 Zero Pump is listed on Flextail’s US store. Specs and claims on this page describe that gen-1 model from the campaign / maker materials at the time — we have not lab-tested it.

Honesty note: Flextail’s current store also lists Zero Pump 2 as a separate ultralight sleeping-pad pump. This page’s overview still covers gen-1 Zero Pump; check the maker’s live product pages for which model and specs match what you need. We are not inventing Zero Pump 2 specs here.
