Last updated: October 31, 2026. Every spec and price here comes from EcoFlow’s UK and EU store pages and from Anthbot’s US store and its model comparison table, all read October 31, 2026. This is a spec comparison, not a hands-on test. We haven’t run any of these mowers ourselves. Anything marked “arithmetic” is our math on the makers’ figures. Prices change often, so check the live listing before you buy.
If you went looking for the EcoFlow BLADE robot mower and couldn’t buy one, you’re not imagining it. EcoFlow has stopped selling it. This page covers what EcoFlow’s own stores say about the BLADE now, what the BLADE offered, and what wire-free robot mowers are on sale instead, with Anthbot’s lineup laid out from Anthbot’s own spec table.
Is the EcoFlow BLADE discontinued?
Yes, as far as EcoFlow’s stores show. On October 31, 2026, the EcoFlow UK BLADE page says “This item is no longer available on the official EcoFlow website,” and every BLADE option is marked sold out. EcoFlow Europe lists the BLADE, a refurbished BLADE, and the BLADE Smart Extra Battery in a collection it labels “Smart Devices (EOL)”, meaning end of life, all sold out. The old US product address now redirects to the EcoFlow US homepage.
We didn’t find a public EcoFlow statement about how long BLADE parts and app support will continue. If you own one, keep your warranty paperwork and check EcoFlow support directly. The UK page still advertises a warranty of “up to 4 years”.
Our original EcoFlow BLADE launch coverage from 2023 is still up for the history.
What did the EcoFlow BLADE offer?
For comparison, here is what EcoFlow’s UK spec table lists for the BLADE:
- Wire-free boundaries using RTK satellite positioning, plus lidar and a camera for obstacles
- 260 mm cutting width and a 20 to 76 mm cutting height
- 240 minutes working time per charge and 130 minutes to recharge
- 27° climbing ability and 40 mm vertical obstacle climbing
- IPX5 water resistance, 16.2 kg (36 lb) net weight
- 4G, GPS, and an integrated eSIM for tracking
- An optional Lawn Sweeper Kit for leaves and debris, and a Smart Extra Battery that could run the charging station from solar panels
The UK page last showed the BLADE at £1,849 before it went unavailable. EcoFlow Europe shows €2,999.
What are the wire-free alternatives to the EcoFlow BLADE?
Several makers now sell robot mowers that don’t need a buried perimeter wire. They use RTK satellite positioning (a GPS correction signal, sometimes from a base station you mount outside), lidar, cameras, or a mix. Brands in this space include Anthbot, Segway Navimow, Mammotion, Ecovacs, and Husqvarna’s EPOS models. We cover Anthbot in detail below because its full spec table is public and Off Grid Power Boom is an Anthbot affiliate. The other brands are worth comparing on their own maker pages.
One thing the BLADE had that most alternatives don’t: a lawn-sweeper kit. Among Anthbot’s mowers, only the N8 lists collecting and sweeping modes.
How do Anthbot’s robot mowers compare?
These figures come from the comparison table on Anthbot’s M5 page and the M9 PRO page, read October 31, 2026. Prices are Anthbot US store prices that day.
| Model | Recommended area | How it navigates | Battery | Mowing time per charge | Modes | Price (Oct 31) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| M5 | 500 m² (1/8 acre) | Full-band RTK + network RTK + dual cameras | 45 Wh | 40 min | Mow | $679 (list $799) |
| M5 LiDAR | 500 m² (1/8 acre) | 360° lidar + dual cameras | 45 Wh | 40 min | Mow | $799 (list $949) |
| M9 | 1,000 m² (1/4 acre) | Full-band RTK + network RTK + dual cameras | 90 Wh | 90 min | Mow | $769 (list $899) |
| M5 PRO | 500 m² (1/8 acre) | Lidar + RTK and network RTK + vision | Not in the table we read | Not in the table we read | Mow | $1,099 |
| M9 PRO | 1,000 m² (1/4 acre) | Lidar + RTK and network RTK + vision | Not in the table we read | Not in the table we read | Mow | $1,399 |
| N8 | 1,500 m² (3/8 acre) | Full-band RTK + network RTK + dual cameras | 198 Wh | 90 min | Mow, mulch, collect, sweep | $1,699 |
| Genie 600e (4G) | 600 m² (1/7 acre) | Full-band RTK + 3D vision (4 cameras) | 45 Wh | 60 min | Mow | $699 (list $1,099) |
| Genie 1000 | 1,000 m² (1/4 acre) | Full-band RTK + 3D vision (4 cameras) | 90 Wh | 120 min | Mow | $799 (list $1,199) |
Shared specs across the models in Anthbot’s table: 20 cm (7.9 in) cutting width, 3 to 7 cm (1.2 to 2.8 in) cutting height, a 24° (45%) maximum slope, IPX6, and a rated noise level of 58 dB or less (the N8 lists up to 68 dB in collect and sweep modes). Anthbot lists a 3-year warranty on the mower and charging station and 2 years on the battery.
For scale, 1,000 m² is about 10,800 square feet (arithmetic). The BLADE’s 260 mm cut is wider than Anthbot’s 20 cm, so expect smaller passes from the Anthbot models.
Do Anthbot mowers need a subscription?
For the 4G and network RTK features, yes, after a free period. Anthbot’s M5 page states “The 4G/NetRTK service requires a separate subscription.” Anthbot’s spec table lists 3 months free on the M5, M5 LiDAR, and M9, and 1 year free on the N8, Genie 600e, and Genie 1000, then renewal at $39.90 a year. Anthbot’s 4G Service page sells it at $39.99 for 1 year, $75.99 for 2 years, or $107.99 for 3 years. The plain Genie 600 has no 4G.
Two listing conflicts we noticed: the M9 page says “1-year free trial” in one section but lists “4G/NRTK Service (3 months)” in the box contents, and the comparison table says 3 months. The M9 page also says you can map “up to 500㎡” while the table says 1,000 m². We’d go by the table and confirm with Anthbot before buying.
What happens to mowing if the 4G plan lapses isn’t spelled out on the pages we read. The RTK models also use dual cameras to hold their course when satellite signal is blocked, and Anthbot’s RTK mount kit and signal booster point to a local RTK setup as well, so ask Anthbot how a given model behaves without the paid service.
Which Anthbot fits which yard?
- Small yard, open sky: the M5 is the cheapest option in the table, at 500 m² and 40 minutes per charge.
- Small yard under trees or near tall walls: the M5 LiDAR navigates by lidar and cameras instead of satellite positioning, and Anthbot’s page says it maps a 500 m² lawn in about 3 minutes.
- Quarter-acre lawn: the M9 doubles the battery to 90 Wh and the recommended area to 1,000 m².
- Leaves and clippings matter to you, like they did on the BLADE: the N8 is the only Anthbot here with collect and sweep modes and a 23 L bag.
- You want lidar and RTK together: the M5 PRO and M9 PRO list both, at a higher price.
You can see the whole lineup on Anthbot’s robot mower page.
Can you run a robot mower’s dock from solar or a power station?
The BLADE was sold with that idea in mind: EcoFlow offered a Smart Extra Battery that could run the charging station from solar panels. EcoFlow’s UK spec table lists the BLADE charging station input as 36 V at 5 A, which works out to about 180 W at most (arithmetic).
Anthbot’s mowers charge from a dock that plugs into a wall outlet through a power adapter. Anthbot doesn’t list the adapter’s wattage on the pages we read, so check the label on the adapter before you size anything. The batteries themselves are small: 45 Wh to 198 Wh per Anthbot’s table. Even allowing for charger and inverter losses, a 1 kWh-class power station holds several times that (arithmetic, not a test). If you want to run a dock from a station and panels, our guides on sizing an off-grid solar system and microinverters cover the basics, and our WYBOT solar pool cleaner page covers another yard robot with a solar angle.
Robot mowers live outside, so the water rating matters. Anthbot lists IPX6 and the BLADE listed IPX5. Our explainer on NEMA and IP ratings says what those numbers mean.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still buy an EcoFlow BLADE new?
Not from EcoFlow’s UK or EU stores, which show it as no longer available or end of life and sold out as of October 31, 2026. The US product page redirects to the homepage. Any new unit you find elsewhere would be old stock, so check the warranty terms with the seller.
Is Anthbot wire-free?
The M, N, and Genie series are sold as wire-free. Anthbot’s older Pion series uses a boundary wire, and Anthbot’s store showed it sold out on October 31, 2026.
How much does Anthbot’s 4G service cost?
Anthbot’s 4G Service page lists $39.99 for one year, $75.99 for two years, and $107.99 for three. The spec table says renewal is $39.90 a year. The free period is 3 months or 1 year depending on the model.
Which Anthbot mower is closest to the EcoFlow BLADE?
The N8, because it’s the only Anthbot here that collects and sweeps as well as mowing, as the BLADE could with its sweeper kit. It has a narrower cut (20 cm vs 260 mm) and a 1,500 m² recommended area, so compare that against your lawn size.
