Published October 20, 2026. Every spec below comes from EcoFlow’s US store (us.ecoflow.com) or Anker SOLIX’s US store (ankersolix.com), checked on October 20, 2026. Runtime figures are arithmetic (watt-hours ÷ watts), not lab tests. This is not a ranked list.
People who search “EcoFlow vs Anker” usually want one of two things: a quick sense of how the two brands differ, or help picking a specific unit. The honest answer to “which is better” is that it depends on your load. Both brands now sell lithium iron phosphate (LFP) stations at the same rough sizes, and the differences that matter show up inside each size class: continuous AC watts, how much solar the unit accepts, whether you can add batteries later, and how the warranty is structured.
This page lines the two lineups up by size: about 300 Wh, about 1 kWh, about 2 kWh, and home backup. If you already know you want a whole-home-class unit, our model-level page Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus vs EcoFlow DELTA Pro goes deeper on that matchup, so it is only summarized here.
Quick answer: how EcoFlow and Anker SOLIX differ
- Both lineups are LFP. Every model compared below lists LiFePO4/LFP cells on the maker page.
- Small class: EcoFlow’s RIVER 3 Plus lists 600W of AC output. Anker’s C300 lists 300W. Capacity is nearly the same (286 Wh vs 288 Wh). Anker’s C300 showed “Sold Out” on ankersolix.com on October 20, 2026.
- 1 kWh class: Anker’s C1000 Gen 2 lists more AC output (2,000W vs 1,800W). EcoFlow’s DELTA 3 Plus lists more solar input (1,000W vs 600W) and can take extra batteries. Anker says the C1000 Gen 2 cannot be expanded.
- 2 kWh class: Same 2,048 Wh and the same 2,400W rated output on EcoFlow’s DELTA 3 Max and Anker’s C2000 Gen 2. Anker lists 800W solar input and an expansion battery. EcoFlow lists 500W solar input for the DELTA 3 Max.
- Home backup: Both brands sell 120V/240V units with expansion batteries (EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3, Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus).
- Warranty: Anker’s US warranty table lists 60 months for each Anker unit compared here. EcoFlow lists 5 years for some models and “3+2 years (subject to registration)” for others, including the DELTA 3 Max. Details are below.
How to use this comparison (it depends on your load)
Start with the job, not the brand:
- Continuous watts: add up the running watts of everything that will be on at the same time. The station’s continuous AC rating has to be higher than that total. A bigger battery does not raise this limit.
- Surge watts: motors and compressors (fridges, pumps) draw a short start-up spike. Check the device’s nameplate or manual. Don’t guess.
- Hours: battery Wh ÷ average load W gives a rough ceiling before conversion losses. Real runtime will be lower, and neither maker publishes one loss figure that fits every load.
- Recharge: if you plan to rely on solar, the maximum solar input matters as much as battery size.
- Growth: if you may need more capacity later, check whether the exact model takes an expansion battery. Within both brands, some models can and some can’t.
For job-specific sizing, see fridge and freezer runtime, CPAP backup battery, and router and modem battery backup.

Read this class by what you’ll add later. If you might want 2 kWh or more someday, the DELTA 3 Plus lists expansion and the C1000 Gen 2 does not. If you need more continuous output from a single box that stays this size, Anker lists 2,000W against EcoFlow’s 1,800W (EcoFlow’s X-Boost mode runs some resistive loads up to 2,200W, per its page). The original Anker C1000 (1,056Wh, 1,800W, expandable to 2,112Wh per its page) showed “Sold Out” on ankersolix.com on October 20, 2026. Our older Anker SOLIX C800 Plus feature review covers the smaller C800 Plus. Its ankersolix.com product URL now redirects to the C1000 Gen 2.

Home backup: EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 vs Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus
| Spec (maker page) | EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 | Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 4096Wh | 3,840Wh |
| AC output | 4000W continuous at 120/240V; X-Boost up to 6000W | 6000W max total; 120V/240V (NEMA L14-30R up to 6000W) |
| Battery | LFP; 80% capacity after 4000 cycles | LFP, 3,000+ cycles |
| Solar input (max) | 2600W total: High-PV 30–150V 1600W + Low-PV 11–60V 1000W | 1600W max per port, 2 ports (3,200W total per Anker’s comparison) |
| Expansion | Page headline: 4–48 kWh (its comparison table also shows “Up to 36kWh, 12kW”; confirm your configuration with EcoFlow) | Up to 6 × BP3800 expansion batteries, 3.84kWh each |
| Weight | Approx. 51.5 kg | 136.7 lb |
| Warranty (US) | 5 years (warranty table); product page says 3-year standard + 2-year extended with EcoFlow App registration | 5-year warranty; 60 months (Anker US warranty table) |
Arithmetic on Anker’s numbers: 3.84 kWh + (6 × 3.84 kWh) = 26.88 kWh with the maximum six expansion batteries. At this size, the real decision is usually about wiring: transfer switch or home panel, 240V loads, and whether a generator will feed the unit. Read transfer switch safety before you plan any panel connection. Runtime arithmetic at a 100W average load
This is division, not a test: listed capacity ÷ 100W. Inverter and conversion losses will make real runtime shorter. Neither maker publishes one loss figure for every load.
| Model | Listed capacity | Wh ÷ 100W (ceiling, before losses) |
|---|---|---|
| EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus | 286Wh | about 2.9 hours |
| Anker SOLIX C300 | 288Wh | about 2.9 hours |
| EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus | 1024Wh | about 10.2 hours |
| Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 | 1,024Wh | about 10.2 hours |
| EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max | 2048Wh | about 20.5 hours |
| Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 | 2,048Wh | about 20.5 hours |
| Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus | 3,840Wh | about 38.4 hours |
| EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 | 4096Wh | about 41.0 hours |
At the same capacity, both brands give the same arithmetic ceiling. What separates them for a given job is output, surge, solar input, and expansion, not Wh alone.
Warranty, app, and expansion: the brand-level differences
Warranty
Anker’s US warranty table lists 60 months for the C300, C1000, C1000 Gen 2, C2000 Gen 2, and F3800 Plus. It lists 36 months for the C300 DC. Anker’s registration page says registering “activates 5-year hassle-free protection” for its portable power stations. (Anker warranty table, Anker warranty registration)
EcoFlow’s US warranty policy is model by model. The RIVER 3 Plus, DELTA 3 Plus, and DELTA Pro 3 are listed at 5 years. The DELTA 3 Max and DELTA 3 Max Plus are listed at “3+2 years (Subject to registration)”. The plain RIVER 3 is listed at 24 months. The DELTA Pro 3 product page also describes its 5 years as 3 standard plus 2 extended with app registration. Register the unit in the EcoFlow app either way. (EcoFlow US warranty policy)
App
Both brands run their stations through a phone app. EcoFlow lists time-of-use and Storm Warning or Storm Guard features on the DELTA 3 pages. Anker lists Time-of-Use mode on the C1000 Gen 2, and Storm Guard plus a Fast Charging Plan on the C2000 Gen 2. If app data location matters to you, Is EcoFlow a Chinese company? covers what EcoFlow’s privacy policy says about where app data is stored.
Expansion
Expansion depends on the model, not the brand. EcoFlow lists extra-battery support on the RIVER 3 Plus, DELTA 3 Plus, DELTA 3 Max Plus, and DELTA Pro 3. Anker lists it on the C2000 Gen 2, F3800 Plus, and the original C1000, but not on the C1000 Gen 2. Check the exact model before you count on adding batteries later.
Battery chemistry
Every unit compared here lists LFP (LiFePO4) cells. Cycle ratings differ by model, from 3,000 to 4,000 cycles where the maker states them. For why LFP matters for daily cycling, see LiFePO4 vs NMC battery chemistry.
