The Delta 2 Max, as its name implies, is the next upgrade to EcoFlow’s popular Delta Max series. The new Delta 2 Max packs a more reliable and long-lasting LiFePO4 battery pack and a 2400W inverter (3400W X-Boost). The 2 kWh power station can be expanded to 6 kWh thanks to its modular design.
With its 2400W inverter and 3400W X-Boost output, the Delta 2 Max can run all of your essential power-hungry appliances. You can also use it as a 120-volt home backup power system, as long as its storage capacity can be expanded using the brand’s smart battery packs.
The new EcoFlow mid-range power station comes with a reliable and lightweight LFP battery pack that has a life of up to 3000 charging cycles until 80% capacity.
More details about the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max, including the price, are yet to come out. The brand plans to launch the product on May 25, 2023.

EcoFlow Delta 2 Max Vs. Delta Max Original
Compared to the Delta Max original, the upgraded model is primarily an LFP power pack. The last-gen Delta Max actually has two variants: the Delta Max 2000 and the Delta Max 1600, respectively, with 2016Wh and 1612Wh lithium battery packs with an output of 2400 watts and 1800 watts.
It looks like, with the new Delta 2 Max, EcoFlow is going to launch the 2400W variant with an LFP battery pack. As per the company, the new model will be a modular power station, and its base battery is a 2048 Wh unit that can be expanded up to 6 kWh using the brand’s smart battery packs.
We are not sure if the brand is working on an LFP variant for the Delta Max 1600 as well.
But what I feel is that the new model is more likely to appear as an elder sibling to its very popular Delta 2 power station.
