Air conditioners are becoming more portable and compact. It is time to say goodbye to the complex and bulky air conditioning and heating systems, especially in outdoor and small recreational spaces. Today we have some amazing portable air conditioners, like the EcoFlow Wave 2.
Here we have another interesting portable air conditioner called the ComfyAir.
Unlike the EcoFlow Wave 2, the ComfyAir is a window air conditioner with a very stylish claw-shaped design. It is also not a solar-chargeable one, but you can use it as a portable air conditioner in your RVs, outing stations, and camping tents.
The window air conditioner comes in three variants; ComfyAir 3000, ComfyAir 6000, and ComfyAir 9000, respectively, with a cooling capacity of 3000 BTU, 6000 BTU, and 9000 BTU and an input power of 950 W, 2050 W, and 2250 W.
The models are designed for cooling areas of 15 ㎡, 25 ㎡, and 40 ㎡, respectively. The maker has launched the product on Kickstarter with an early bird price starting as low as $199, which makes it pretty much cheaper than a Wave air conditioner, but it is without a battery or solar charging facility.

Worth Buying?
ComfyAir can be installed out of the box. In fact, it doesn’t need the kind of complex installation that regular air conditioners want.
You can just place it on the window, plug in the power cable, and turn it on. But I am wondering why the brand has not mentioned drain water management on both its website and the Kickstarter page.
Anyway, as per the information available from both sources, it is going to be a regular air conditioner with a compressor, but in a small and compact size.
It can be simply removed from the window for portable use or cleaning.
With different sizes available, you can choose the right variant as per the size of your room.
By the way, it will be available in both horizontal and vertical orientations, as per your request while pre-ordering the unit.
