Did the ComfyAir window air conditioner ever ship?
Short answer: we could not confirm that it did, and we found no way to buy one. The ComfyAir Kickstarter page shows 2,946 backers pledged $788,386 (goal $10,000) during a funding period of June 13 to July 23, 2023. The reward tiers ($199, $229, and $249 early-bird) listed estimated delivery in October 2023. The creator’s most recent update on that page is dated December 17, 2023 (checked October 23, 2026).
Backers have posted in the campaign comments and on Reddit’s r/kickstarter that their units never arrived. The campaign’s original website no longer loads, and comfyair.store is now a warning page put up by backers, not a shop. We have not seen a ComfyAir unit for sale at any retailer.
Can I get my ComfyAir pledge back?
A Kickstarter pledge is not a store purchase. Kickstarter’s terms make the creator responsible for delivering rewards, and backers in public threads report that Kickstarter pointed them back to the creator.
