Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus Portable Solar Power Station: The First Expandable LiFePo4 Solar Battery Pack from Jackery

June 14, 2023
Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus Portable Power Station

Jackery is all set to launch its first modular LiFePo4 solar power station.

Branded as the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus, this is a 2—24 kWh battery pack with a 3000W inverter. Apart from its notable attraction as a modular battery pack, it is also the brand’s first LFP power station, which can make it a strong competitor to EcoFlow’s and Bluetti’s models.

Jackery, which has been in the portable power station market for over 10 years, has been without a modular LFP power station, unfortunately.

Well, the long wait of Jackery fans has ended with the announcement of the Explorer 2000 Plus, which, like all its models, will also be on sale as the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus solar generator bundled with the required solar panels.

What is New in Explorer 2000 Plus?

The Explorer Plus is a brand-new product from Jackery with a number of industry-leading features.

The expandable power station is suitable for both outdoor and home backup applications.

As you can see, the modular profile and LiFePO4 battery pack are indeed the two main attractions of the new Jacekery battery pack.

At CES 2023, the brand astonished the enthusiasts of portable and off grid power with a collection of smart devices, like a 200W compact wind turbine, a rollable battery pack, a solar-panel-carrying foldable camp tent, and an all-in-one suitcase battery pack.

These cool devices were expected to be released in two years, as said by the company agents at the event. It was when the brand came up with the first LFP battery pack with modular capability, to the surprise of its fans, at Intersolar Europe 23 in Munich, Germany.

The Explorer 2000 Plus is basically a 2042 Wh power station with a 3000W inverter. You will be able to stack up an array of sex extra battery modules to take it up to 12 kWh. Furthermore, a pair of the bundles will make it a massive 24 kWh power station with an output of up to 6000 watts.

Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus vs. Explorer 2000 Pro

You might be confused with these two models, for sure.

The Explorer 2000 Pro is one of the recent upgrades to the brand’s Explorer series of power stations. It is a 2160 Wh lithium-ion power station with a 2200W inverter and is also a younger sibling to the brand’s big-size Explorer 3000 Pro.

The new Explorer 2000 Plus, as you know, is a totally different product. Though having some similarities in design, the new model is a modular power station with an LFP battery pack.

Compared to the former, it has more charging cycles and a rather powerful inverter, apart from its modular battery pack.

But when it comes to weight, like all LFP power stations, the new one weighs almost 10 kg more than its lithium sibling.

Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus Price and Release Date

The brand has not yet revealed the price details of the new battery, which will go on sale on June 19, 2023.

As of now, you can pre-book the machine by spending just $1, which will give you a coupon code for up to $499. Yes, you can use the code while buying the power station when it is available on its website and on Amazon.
