Bluetti is expanding its product range into a balcony power plant system with a grid-tie micro-inverter and off-grid storage system. The brand earlier announced the product for launch in the fourth quarter of the year, and now it is to put on display the associated EP800 off-grid storage system at the Energy Expo in Florida.
More details about the EP800 are yet to come out, and along with it, the brand will exhibit its other upcoming products, like the AC60P and the AC180P, the EU versions of the AC60 and the AC180 power stations, which were launched in the USA over the last couple of months.
The new Bluetti products will be on display at booth 233 in the Energy Expo, which takes place at the Miami Airport Convention Center, Miami, from August 22 to 24, 2023.
From the flyer the brand posted on Facebook, it is seen that the EP800 looks exactly like the brand’s recently launched EP900 home battery pack, a massive 9.9 kWh/9 kW whole-house backup system with amazing modular features.
The Bluetti Grid-Tie Balcony Power Plant System
In June 2023, Bluetti CMO Mark Yue, in a talk to NextPit, announced the brand’s forthcoming balcony power plant that combines a grid-tie micro-inverter and an off-grid storage system.
Of course, this is going to be the brand’s reply to EcoFlow’s PowerStream balcony solar system, which has been on sale in the EU markets for a couple of months.

We are not sure if Bluetti’s balcony power plant is exclusively for the EU market.
Anyway, the EP800 may most likely be the primary backup battery of the system.
Well, the combination of grid-tied and off-grid power systems enables you to store the excess power in your own storage systems, apart from feeding it into the house grid. This helps you optimize the self-consumption of the energy harvested by your solar power plant, which can easily be set up on your balcony or patio.
Apart from the EP800, the Bluetti balcony power plant system may also be compatible with the brand’s existing battery packs and solar panels, which will allow a current Bluetti owner to set up a power plant at home or at work in easier steps and at a reduced cost.
The EcoFlow PowerStream Balcony Power Plant

The EcoFlow PowerStream is based on the brand’s 2 kWh Delta Max power station, unlike the brand’s US whole-house battery pack, which is centered on the brand’s flagship Delta Pro power station.
The 2 kWh EcoFlow PowerStream kit contains a unit of the Delta Max, a pair of 400-watt Rigid solar panels, a pair of SmartPlugs, and the required SuperFlat and Extension cables.
The EcoFlow balcony power plant comes in a 600-watt Germany-only model and an 800-watt EU variant. You can largely customize the power plant to meet your needs.
We will keep this article updated with fresh details from Bluetti on its upcoming balcony power plant sooner. Stay tuned.
